Let's talk about confidence. Do you consider yourself a confident woman? If we had to give an honest answer, the answer is no. Oftentimes, we have more confidence at work than in social settings. According to Harvard Business Review, imposter syndrome disproportionately affects high-achieving people, who find it difficult to accept their accomplishments. Many question whether they're deserving of accolades.
Even if women demonstrate strength, ambition, and resilience, our daily battles with microaggressions and assumptions formed by stereotypes, often push us down.
